Maintenance time?

So i’m kind of in maintenance mode, I’ve hit my first goal weight, and I feel good. I’m currently under 300 pounds and sitting pretty at around 295ish and I’m enjoying adding some carbs and treats.

I’ve been eating too many treats lol, it’s been fun though but my tummy hurts too often to keep eating sour patch kids by the handful. A list of foods i’ve been binge eating: pop tarts, cereal, hawaiian food, chinese food, fruit snacks, sour candy, french fries, and plenty of other things that aren’t good for me.

Enter corn, peas, carrots, apples, bananas, etc, fuel for my intense workouts and they don’t wreck my stomach for the next day. I’m still mostly keto because my body has adapted to this lifestyle after eating this way for 5 years, nor do I want to deviate long term. I’m comfortable eating low carb/keto, especially on gym days.

Speaking of gym days, I posted this on my instagram but my target exercise is 60-90 minutes and 900ish calories burned. I often go over on calories because I’m lifting heavier now and as long as I feel good, then i’m going to keep going, ya know, dopamine or whatever. I feel confident and sexy at the gym, so of course I like being there.

Gone are the days of food tracking and constantly weighing myself, my body will continue to trek towards my goal weights as a byproduct of my lifestyle, I’m pleased with my progress. I do want to see how I look and feel at 280 pounds but I’m in no hurry to hit a number, I just want to feel good.

until next time
