Binge eating and mental health

I started introducing carbs to my diet more because I’m having amazing workouts and I’m gaining muscle. But i’ve been binge eating and I remembered how I would feel when I was 400 pounds, I felt guilty.

After some thought I was like, “what if I just flip the narrative?” and I started changing my mindset. My mindset now is: I’m eating keto most of the time and one bad day, one bad week, whatever, is not going to set me back because I enjoy my active lifestyle.

Food is yummy, it no longer has control over me, but instead I have all the control now. I’m still getting nutrients from the shit I consume, I may feel like shit afterwards but I’m aware of the risks.

Lastly, I’m mindful of eating. I’m enjoying some amazing food every once in a while and I’m exercising and staying healthy. 🙂
