February update

After stepping on the scale, I’m over the moon right now. I’ve had such a complicated relationship with the scale, as it rarely brings me good news. The ups and downs impact my mood, likely too much. As evidenced by this update, I’m pretty happy with the results lol.
Since the first of the year, I’m 13 pounds down, which is roughly 65 pounds from my highest weight.
Like I mentioned in my last blog, I’ve been back on low carb, and it’s been really easy to stay the course. However, I am not doing keto like I used to. The reason for that is I never enjoyed high fat content in my diet.
Now I’m eating high protein, low fat, low carb meals and I’m feeling great. My workouts are really intense and I’m building a lot more muscle, and my mindset regarding food is encouraging. I’m quite motivated and am very proud of the progress I’ve made so far. The ironic thing is I’m not tracking calories, I’m intuitively eating with smaller portions and now that I’ve made these adjustments , I’m not as hungry. I even stayed low carb for my birthday, which included Chinese buffet; crawfish, chicken, beef, vegetables. My blood pressure numbers have gotten to normal range also. Here’s to a healthy 2025 and beyond! Here’s my february workout summary.
