I love Aldi for keto stuff

I put a lot of this stuff on my instagram (link here. You have to be 18+ to view, sorry), but I do most of my grocery shopping at Aldi and recently they’ve added a bunch of keto and low carb stuff! They have low carb buns, bread, bagels, flour tortillas, cookies, crackers, and sweets. Tons of stuff, for me personally I love it but I go through these obsessive phases with food and move on, which is good because I get kinda bloated when I eat too much fiber. I hold on to the water weight when I’m eating a lot of those things. Like I said in previous posts, I’m prioritizing fat and protein but lately I’ve been very lazy keto and enjoying myself.

I recently weighed in at 297 pounds which is great considering my goal is to be around 260 pounds. So good to not see 300 on the scale, although I’m sure that will change because my weight loss has never been linear, and that’s ok. That means i’ve lost about 90 pounds, I am floating between 85-90 pounds lost so I’m celebrating!

I also love aldi because I can buy protein and vegetables for cheap, which I’ve been enjoying frozen/canned veggies (because lazy, remember?). Love saving money and still getting fed! I saw they had some new hummus options and I’m probably going to feed that craving soon.

As always, I’ve been cooking quite a bit and I’ve been posting more meals over on my instagram. Nothing is really pretty of course but I realize that my audience is probably a lot like me in lacking time to make a pretty dinner. I did some carbquik cheddar bay biscuits, a lot of keto bagel sandwiches, and I did a super spicy chili with carne picada and my own ghost peppers and fresnos from my garden.

A lot of cool moments have happened this week including me being emotional because my son started school. Maybe i’ll talk about some moments in the future.
