Yes, it’s true, and it’s amazing. I did it several times but the most rewarding was with a homemade cheese crust. Can I show you how I made it? I got it from my friend David who posted on his instagram. I needed to get rid of some almond flour so I added roughly 1/3 cup.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees, shred 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shred half cup cheddar cheese, mix in 1 egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and the almond flour. Just mix it with your hands and spread it out on parchment paper. Bake for 15 minutes and done. Then add your toppings and bake for 10-15 more minutes.
I cannot stress the parchment paper enough, don’t be like me and use foil because it sticks a lot. I also did a recipe with Cut Da Carb flatbread which was great too. Most of the pizzas used a low carb pasta sauce or bbq sauce, mozzarella cheese, vegetables, sausage, and/or ham, and jalapenos. I roasted a whole chicken using Ina Garten’s recipe and turned that into bbq chicken pizza on the cheese crust. I used some sugar free bbq sauce after I deboned the chicken and mixed it all together and got about 3 pizzas from it, yay for leftovers. I love Ina Garten, she’s one of my favorite tv chefs.

The past couple weeks I’ve done chili, pizza, and roasted a chicken, it’s been wonderful. Here are the links to those recipes: chili, pizza post w/chicken […]
