The ingredients:
- Skirt steak
- half of white onion (diced)
- radishes (tops removed and kept)
- Low carb tortillas (I used mister tortilla brand)
- White vinegar
- Spicy brown mustard
- Minced garlic
- Water
The method:
- Heated cast iron to medium high heat, seasoned my steak, seared for about 4-5 minutes per side, then removed and let rest before slicing.
- Thinly sliced radishes and put in white vinegar with some salt and stevia (quick pickle)
- Added some water to deglaze the pan, added spicy brown mustard and minced garlic until it got fragrant (like 3 seconds lol) then added radish tops and sauteed until wilted (like 1-2 minutes).
- Place tortillas on hot pan until they get some color on them. Then everything is ready to serve, I sliced my steak really thin (see my instagram)
Yum, love a fast meal with steak. This fits into my ketovore adventures quite nicely.
