I’ll be honest with ya, I don’t want to go to the store so I’m being stubborn!
The Ingredients:
- A whole bunch of water in a stockpot (enough to cover turkey)
- a turkey (bag/innards removed – 13 pounder)
- Couple halved onions
- A whole bunch of pink salt (i’ll probably do like 1 cup)
- A whole bunch of sugar (i’ll probably do 2 cups)
- A whole bunch of peppercorns (i’m even using some sichuan)
- Some orange juice (leftover from my son!)
- A clove of garlic (i’ll just smash it)
The Method:
- Rinse off turkey and remove bag and any innards (i’ll make gravy out of these fyi)
- Put everything in a stock pot
- Refrigerate for 24 hours or so
I am using what is available from my home! This is true bargain stuff hope you enjoy!
